Benefiting The
American Red Cross
What
A fundraising event to benefit those residents
of Brazoria County affected by Hurricane Ike. This event will
collect funds and non-perishable food items with all generated
proceeds going to the Red Cross.
When & Where
Saturday October 11, 2008
Skydive Spaceland, 16111 FM 521, Rosharon, TX 77583. Map/Directions
 Food
Drive
Bring out your canned/boxed goods. These non-perishable
items will be donated to churches in the Rosharon, Alvin and
Angleton areas to be distributed to those in need. Also, food for
pets can be dropped off at Skydive Spaceland until Oct. 11. This food will be given to the Houston SPCA, which
has taken in thousands of pets that have been displaced due to Ike.
Fundraisers
Monetary donations will be given to the Red Cross. These donations will mainly be raised by the
raffle, dinner and skydiving. The more you jump, the more Skydive Spaceland will donate--we'll be giving at least $2 to the Red Cross for every jump you make! That evening the Anvil Brothers will have a
HUGE BBQ dinner (about $10/plate) where all money collected will be donated.

Raffles will be held throughout the day to raise
funds. You do not need to be present to win; this will help us raise more
money for the Red Cross. If you can't be here that day but you still want to buy tickets ($5 for lower-value item tickets, $10 for the big-ticket items), please call manifest (281-367-3337) and purchase tickets for the items that
you want to win.
