Labor Day Weekend Report
Over a somewhat weather-challenged Labor Day weekend, Deguello 17 still did 23 jumps and we had a fantastic free BBQ! Thanks to Steve and Skydive Spaceland for the
great BBQ on Monday. We had over 120 pounds of chicken and lots of
sausage links and potato salad (ooof...). Rich Williams and Mike Hooper cooked it
UP! This was our thanks to all the people who were here
at Spaceland on their Labor Day. Staff,
students, experienced jumpers, teams... All were welcomed and walked away
with full bellies.
Load
Organizing Every Month
Starting this weekend,
there will be load organizing offered the second weekend of every month
throughout the year. Grab your gear, bring some friends, and come
prepared to have fun!
Leah Blache has committed every month to bring you some
exciting dives such as smaller learning dives, hoop dives and maybe some
special mystery dive competitions. Fun stuff... So if you have just
graduated our training program or just don't have anyone to jump with,
then come on out the second weekend of every month and jump with Leah
and the gang. All skill levels are welcome and she will create the
dives based on the skill levels of the jumpers.
